Mason was born into a wealthy family. Growing up he had everything and never needed to worry about going out hungry, not having the money to get something that he liked or whatnot. Never did he let the wealth get to his head though. Even as a child, Mason had always made sure to achieve the most he could on his own. To help those who needed his help first rather than himself. It was something that came so easily for the young boy and that made him realize when he grew up, he wanted to do more. He wanted to achieve more.School-wise no one could ever complain about him. He had amazing grades and rarely ever any bad behavior. He matched all the conditions to follow his dream and become an attorney. With his high school sweetheart by his side, Mason had found himself a small apartment he could afford from his part-time job. Surely, he could have had his family’s help but preferred to achieve his own wealth on his own. That meant paying for his own place, paying of his tuition on his own. No matter how long it would take. No matter how hard it would be.At age 20 came the first live-changing news for the young man. His girlfriend was pregnant. It wasn’t anything either of them expected. Mostly because both of them were amidst their studies for their future careers. A pregnancy? It wasn’t anything he thought would happen this soon. Nonetheless, Mikayla and Mason decided to do their best and manage their studies as well as their baby, Elijah, on the way. At 22 Mason had passed college and continued on to three more years at law school. It was a difficult road with a baby by their side but their infant grew the two of them closer together. Eventually, Mason and Mikayla had decided to get married. It was easier in many aspects.Their marriage was happy, their life had finally settled some even if he was still doing his studies. Finally, at age 25, Mason could call himself an attorney and do what he had been wanting to do his whole life. It wasn’t hard settling into the work-life. Maybe he was just lucky with the places he worked at but at least he didn’t regret a single day of the route he chose to take.At 27 Mason and his wife had been grazed with another beautiful child. They had a daughter, Olivia. Their apartment had long not been big enough for the small family anymore. Elijah was 6 now and their newborn would need a new room for themselves, too. And so Mason bought them a nice and cozy house to hopefully spend the rest of their days in.Though the peace he had been so used to, didn’t last for too long. Only two years after his daughter’s birth, he started to notice changes in his wife. They hadn’t been the same and he couldn’t quite grasp why. Not until the day, he was nearly fired for something that had happened in his name but he had no idea of. Someone sabotaged him. And it couldn’t have been anyone else but his wife. When he came home to confront her, he caught her on the couch with another man, going right at it. In the back, he could hear Olivia crying and his wife didn’t give a single care.It was the day that had changed everything and a day that had brought a long process and a long fight over the custody of their children. The wrongs she did to him apparently weren’t the only things she had done wrong in her life. More and more things started surfacing until finally, the court agreed to give custody to just Mason and allowed him to file a divorce as well.It was possibly the hardest time of his life, especially with his father passing in a car accident at the same time as the trials were. But despite everything, Mason was now raising the children on his own. His mother was there to help him whenever she could or whenever he needed her to. And with his own firm, Mason couldn’t possibly be any happier.
